Pageant winner
Sonali started her journey by fluke when she signed up to participate10 days before the Mrs. Bharath Florida pageant thinking she was just going to having fun and it was one and done. Surprised to become the 1st runner up, she decided to further her journey and participate in the Nationals in Atlanta. After claiming the crown for 1st runner up during Nationals that too being judged accidentally in the wrong category alongside women upto 15 years younger than her she got motivated to participate in Mrs. South Asia world and then finally Mrs. Universe USA where she took the crown in the Classic category. She was also a winner in the talent round as she sang a Bollywood song during nationals.

Sonali Received a Women's empowerment award for her contribution in volunteering as an EMCEE and coaching candidates for improving their walk, assisting in costume selection as well as Q&A preparation in Mrs. Bharath Florida 2024.

Sharing her story
A strong belief in continuous learning and self-determination is at the heart of Sonali's story. After a 14-year hiatus to care for her family, she chose not just to return to the workforce, but to make a seemingly impossible transition into the IT industry.
Her success, driven by her sheer grit and self-belief, proves her personal mantra: "If you are not willing to learn, no one can teach you; but if you are determined to learn, no one can stop you."
Now an experienced IT professional in a large corporate setting, she leverages her journey to inspire and mentor many of her friends, who are also homemakers, to rejoin the workforce.
